We’re very excited to announce that Bacton Logistics has agreed the lease on a brand-new 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse at Port One Logistics Park in Great Blakenham – a major step forward in our growth journey.
This strategic move represents an important milestone for the business. The new facility significantly increases our operational capacity, allowing us to support our customers with greater efficiency, flexibility and scalability. With more space, improved infrastructure and a prime logistics location, we’ll be better positioned than ever to meet rising demand and continue delivering the high standards our partners expect.
Port One Logistics Park offers excellent transport connectivity, making it an ideal base for our expanding operations. This new site will play a central role in our long-term ambitions, enabling us to enhance our service offering while future-proofing our business for continued growth in the logistics sector.
Alongside this exciting development, we’ve also strengthened our leadership and operational team to support the expansion. Tom Maddison joined Bacton as Commercial Director at the beginning of April, and one of his first key objectives has been to establish and shape the new warehouse operation from the ground up – ensuring it reflects our values of quality, professionalism and continuous improvement.
We’re also delighted to welcome several new faces to the Bacton team. As part of our expansion, we’ve brought in additional drivers to support our growing fleet, as well as five new team members – Danni, Ria, Heather, Ricky and Johnnie – who will be instrumental in running the warehouse operation and maintaining the high level of service our customers rely on.
This investment in both infrastructure and people highlights our commitment to sustainable, responsible growth. The new Port One facility isn’t just about space; it’s about strengthening our capabilities, building a strong team culture and ensuring we continue to deliver a reliable, high-quality logistics service.
